It has been much too long since I read Be My Alien , the first book in this series, so returning to Reed and Taz s story was a treat Taz dumped on Earth by his date has now been living with Reed for a month and some of his shenanigans as he explores life on Earth are hilarious I also loved Taz s comments about airplanes, and how unsafe they are compared to what he is used to on his home planet, Trygos As Taz and Reed get to know each other better and meet Reed s family, their relationshi It has been much too long since I read Be My Alien , the first book in this series, so returning to Reed and Taz s story was a treat Taz dumped on Earth by his date has now been living with Reed for a month and some of his shenanigans as he explores life on Earth are hilarious I also loved Taz s comments about airplanes, and how unsafe they are compared to what he is used to on his home planet, Trygos As Taz and Reed get to know each other better and meet Reed s family, their relationship dynamic changes a little Where Taz relied and still relies on Reed to learn about Earth s customs, Reed now learns to lean on Taz for moral support and strength when facing his past in the form of a homophobic brother and stalker y ex Despite the threat from said ex, the story was super enjoyable and very cute Taz has adjusted to life on Earth mostly There are still many hilarious moments when he takes something literally that was meant as a figure of speech Taz s curiosity is incredible, his protective streak gets stronger each day, and his love for Reed grows deeper the longer they are together He watches Reed around his family and fits in better than I had feared, but there are still quite a few comments and questions that show how different his culture is from ours.Reed loves Taz to distraction, but he has to stay alert to his catlike alien s different ways of seeing things Even though it is not ideal to visit his family while his father is recovering from a mild heart attack, Reed enjoys introducing Taz as his boyfriend His parents and sister are fantastic, his brother not so much And then there is his abusive ex who suddenly turns up, seeming to want to reconcile It s the last thing Reed wants, and as the truth about their relationship emerges, I was all for getting rid of the idiot sooner rather than later Unfortunately it is not that easy If you like your science fiction with a solid side of humor, if you want to know how Taz and Reed are getting on and how they deal with a scary stalker, and if you re looking for a hot read with a touch of suspense and lots of family love, then you will probably like this novel.NOTE This book was provided by Dreamspinner Press for the purpose of a review on Rainbow Book Reviews

3.5 star review by TaraIn the sequel to Be My Alien, we meet up again with Reed and his sexy alien love Taz Taz is an alien who resembles a calico cat He has beautiful stripes that show up when he experiences high emotion such as arousal, long calico striped hair and a tail He was stranded on top of the Empire state building after coming to earth for a date gone bad He meets Reed an owner of an upscale men s boutique that has naughty secrets in the back room It was love at first fall In th 3.5 star review by TaraIn the sequel to Be My Alien, we meet up again with Reed and his sexy alien love Taz Taz is an alien who resembles a calico cat He has beautiful stripes that show up when he experiences high emotion such as arousal, long calico striped hair and a tail He was stranded on top of the Empire state building after coming to earth for a date gone bad He meets Reed an owner of an upscale men s boutique that has naughty secrets in the back room It was love at first fall In this second book, Reed and Taz have been living together for a month going through what most would call the honeymoon phase as they seem to be sexing it up every chance he gets The men are out one night trying to cheer up Reed s coworker Peter, when Reed gets a phone call that his father has suffered a heart attack and that he had to head home to Florida He has Taz accompany him even though he is afraid of Taz s true nature being discovered In Florida awaits a homophobic brother, a darling but crazy sister, a lovable mother and strong father, and horrible ex boyfriend Reedthought he had long left behind Reed begins a journey of self discovery and also tests the bond of his relationship with Taz.This was an incredibly delightful and touching book The first book was too short and I was pleased to see this would not be the case again You cannot help but love Taz He is adorable as he discovers earth is a lot different than his home world on Tygros The loyalty, protectiveness, and love he has for Reed is beautiful to behold Taz shows he is muchthan fluffiness, and his claws are not just for decoration As they both deal with the appearance of the ex, and the bad emotions he brings back for Reed, Taz proves himself to be strength that Reed needs We see Reed grow from that love, and overcome the obstacles that pop up unexpectedly He becomesself assured and learns to rely on his kitten muchThere are a lot of sexy moments as Taz is pretty much insatiable Whenever his tail popped out I couldn t help but giggle as I imagined the scene I would definitely recommend this series I do not think it should be read as a standalone since it is important that you know how the two main characters met each other It is an easy read, which will definitely make you go awww a lot and want to cuddle up with someone or maybe a cute kitty of your own.A copy of this book was provided in exchange for an honest review Please visit www.lovebytesreviews.com to see this and manyreviews, author interviews, guestposts and giveaways

As I adored Be My Alien, I was excited for the opportunity to review Be My Human and while book one is my favorite of the two, Be My Human certainly lived up to my expectations This books picks up a month later, during which time Taz has been living with Reed and they have gotten to know one another better including Taz s kitty quirks Seriously, the description of Taz s first day home alone nearly had me rolling on the bed laughing Curiosity might not have killed this cat, but it sure as he As I adored Be My Alien, I was excited for the opportunity to review Be My Human and while book one is my favorite of the two, Be My Human certainly lived up to my expectations This books picks up a month later, during which time Taz has been living with Reed and they have gotten to know one another better including Taz s kitty quirks Seriously, the description of Taz s first day home alone nearly had me rolling on the bed laughing Curiosity might not have killed this cat, but it sure as heck made him sick But when a family emergency has Reed dragging Taz to Florida with him, their relationship is soon put to the test. While scary for Reed, the family emergency is one that many kids who move away from home must face so Reed s immediate response to rush home for a visit was realistic I loved that there was no hesitation on his part to take Taz with them as it not only demonstrated his love for Taz, but also showed the type of people his parents were as he wasn t worried about a bad reaction from them The airplane scene was hilarious, except for when Reed inducted Taz to the mile high club Even though the book s blurb warned that Reed s brother was homophobic, I was still surprised with his lack of decorum around his parents when insulting Reed and Taz Fortunately this was counterbalanced with the unconditional acceptance Taz received from Reed s parents and sister Reed s family was great and it was not surprising that Taz got a bit home sick What was surprising was Reed s ex boyfriend Peyton both in how he treated Reed in the past and what he does in an attempt to rekindle their relationship Be My Human provides a good dose of romance, a bit of hot sex, a lot of family bonding, and just the right amount of suspense and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it I absolutely loved the ending and hope that the next book in the series will be released soon because I really want to see Reed and Taz s families meet That s an event, I d really hate to miss.I received a complimentary copy of the book in exchange for an honest review Reviewed by Angela at Crystal s Many Reviewers

I have really struggled with how to write this review and how to rate this book for a few reasons I m not normally a sci fi reader fan, but I have ready Ms Church s prior books, and book 1 in this series as well and completely enjoyed them So I could hardly wait to start reading this book because I wanted to find out what was going to happen with Reed and Taz.I was disappointed to say the least when I got into the story because it didn t have the same feel as Be My Alien did There were se I have really struggled with how to write this review and how to rate this book for a few reasons I m not normally a sci fi reader fan, but I have ready Ms Church s prior books, and book 1 in this series as well and completely enjoyed them So I could hardly wait to start reading this book because I wanted to find out what was going to happen with Reed and Taz.I was disappointed to say the least when I got into the story because it didn t have the same feel as Be My Alien did There were several times that it seemed as though Taz washumanlike than alien, and the times that his alieniness yes I just made that word up was mentioned it felt like it was an afterthought It was as though the only time his alien side came out was when he was aroused, and there were quite a fewsex scenes in this book as opposed to the first it felt like Don t get me wrong, I love the smut like anyone else does, but I wasn t really expecting that much of it in this book. There were other parts of the story that I was a bit confused as to what was happening, and why certain characters were brought into the book But eventually it seemed to work itself out to a degree.Even with the issues that I personally had with the book, I did still enjoy reading it I thought it was cute about Taz getting to meet Reed s family I did think that those scenes were done very well The emotions were also very well written when it came to certain parts of the story in my opinion Why I rated 4 stars instead of 3 Because even though I had my opinions about the book, I couldn t put it down once I started it And I am very interested in reading book 3 in the series and finding outabout Taz hopefully Reviewed by Crystal Marie for Crystal s Many Reviewers Copy provided for review
