    2 I m all out of sorts starsIf you know anything about me is that is that I hardly post two star reviews A lot of factors come into my rating.First off, I think I had different expectations going into this book When I read the premise I felt like I was going to go into this crazy dark physiological thriller I was looking forward to getting to know the two men and figuring out which one the Heroine will pick.No, it s not even closely about that It s about a young woman, a very weak, sad and l 2 I m all out of sorts starsIf you know anything about me is that is that I hardly post two star reviews A lot of factors come into my rating.First off, I think I had different expectations going into this book When I read the premise I felt like I was going to go into this crazy dark physiological thriller I was looking forward to getting to know the two men and figuring out which one the Heroine will pick.No, it s not even closely about that It s about a young woman, a very weak, sad and lonely women in a relationship with man she doesn t love.So I had to kind of change my frame of mind It s a lighter book with atypical storyline, but the guy she is with is kind of twisted, which I like.But there s something about the main character that I couldn t connect with I love a damsel in distress, but a weak Heroine is hard for me to like She depends on her fianc for everything He picks out what she wears, who she goes out with, what she does all the time and yes it bothers her, don t think it s a crazy Dom sub relationship no, she s very unhappy.And what does she do Nothing, but cry.It was a little frustrating.Then comes the younger man The one that will save the day I couldn t connect with the Hero and the Heroine I didn t see nor feel the chemistry Maybe it s because, view spoiler THERE s ZERO sex Oh wait, they do sleep together, at the 95% mark hide spoiler and no I don t have to have that in every book, but when it s in your title, I kind of want it.I should back up, yes, there is view spoiler sex between the Heroine and the fianc , kind of rough kinky sex to show me how evil he is, but to me, I found it hot and her kind of sad because she was sad and felt humiliated the entire time He basically tied her up and spanked her ass once, but okay, it s humiliating hide spoiler.I think I could have easily rated this book 3 or 4 stars had it been marketed differently I felt like the title, the cover and the summary gave me a different feel and story I thought I should have been reading Also I m a dark romance junkie, so when I get a villain, I want a villain you know Show me his crazy dark possessive side I want to cringe and grit my teeth when I read.Also, show me some passion between the main character and the man I am suppose to want her to be with I felt like he wasof a concerned buddy, holding her hand.Yet again, this is all my opinion READ on kindle unlimited
