on her feat and discover who she is and what she wants to do with her life She does not want another man around telling her what to do, so she has her guard up with Noah enters her life It doesn t take long for his charm to work through her walls I liked Cassie, she was easy to relate Another hit by Rachael I loved this one and stayed up way too late to finish it I kept saying just onechapter I was glad she got a second chance at happiness I liked the growth her character went through and it was nice to see her discovering herself again Noah was great I liked him in the first book and it was fun to see him and to reconnect with his sweet daughters I loved the romance between Cassie and Noah and how their relationship developed They have great chemistry together I liked that there wasgoing on with them besides the romance though, they both have lost spouses and have their own issues to work through This is a companion novel to Prejudice Meets Pride and it was fun seeing characters from the first book make an appearance I love Rachael s books and always have to stop whatever I m doing when a new one comes out so I can dive in This was a real page turner, I read it in one sitting and loved every minute Highly recommend this series to anyone who enjoys a great heartwarming romance ContentRomance CleanSource Received complimentary copy from author in exchange for girls are adorable They re so different from one another, yet they are best friends One is into dance and girly things and the other is into horses They unknowingly bridge a gap.Cassie is a widow one who is relieved to be a widow because of her unhappy marriage She isn t looking for love either Her marriage left her with the need to rebel to an extent pink everything, pizza delivered, a basement finished in a way that pleases her, etc Cassie feels she needs to move slowly in her relationships in order to rediscover herself Cassie is a dancer and really feels emotion through her movements and music She s very outwardly refined, but she has insecurities, just like everyone else I love the way she handles and treats Noah s girls I love the journey these two took to finding themselves, learning to compromise, and realizing their true hearts desires I loved the ice cream personality analysis What a fun way to look at life I loved seeing familiar characters in side roles, supporting their loved ones The story engaged me and drew me in and I found myself cheering Noah and Cassie on There were a few unexpected twists, but I was satisfied with the results.Content Only kissing Clean of her that is yearning to let go and live passionately. This is the second book in Rachael Anderson s Meet Your Match series, and Noah and his daughters are minor characters in the first book, Prejudice Meets Pride which features his sister as the lead I recommend reading them in order to fully understand the backgrounds of all characters in the books, but they are also written to be read as stand alone novels I received a complimentary copy of the book all opinions expressed in this review are my own March 2018 It s been a few years since I have read this book and I loved it just as much this time around It makes me want to go back and readof my favorites by Ms Anderson Maybe I ll do just that Hehe June 2015 Cassie is a recent widow But she s not like any other widow She does not miss her husband at all He was a horrible person who was very controlling and wouldn t let Cassie do anything that she wanted to do Now that she is free from him she is on a journey of self discovery Hehe June 2015 Cassie is a recent widow But she s not like any other widow She does not miss her husband at all He was a horrible person who was very controlling and wouldn t let Cassie do anything that she wanted to do Now that she is free from him she is on a journey of self discovery She knows that she can never be the person that she used to be but she also doesn t want to be the person her husband had turned her into She doesn t know who she is But she does know that she never, ever wants to be controlled by a man again So when her friend, Becky, tries to set her up with a single father, she wants nothing at all to do with it Noah is a single father of two beautiful, active girls He s on the verge of a promotion and life just couldn t get any better Until the promotion doesn t come through he loses his job and his well meaning but meddling neighbor, Becky, decides she has the perfect woman to set him up with He really doesn t want to have anything to do with any woman and tries his best to dodge any kind of setups When Becky tells him that all he has to do is find out what Cassie s favorite ice cream is and she ll leave him alone and never set him up again, Noah agrees and sets out to find out what it is so he can get back to living his life Little did he know that one simple question would set him on the path that he never knew he wanted to go down Now all he has to do is to show Cassie that that path isn t all that scary and going down it together is just what they both need I really enjoyed seeing Noah and Cassie get to know each other and grow closer together Noah was extremely patient with what Cassie went through with her husband and had to remind her several times that he wasn t him and didn t want to control her But I do understand that it can be very scary to start any kind of relationship after everything she had to go through I felt at times she was too cautious Noah had to prove himself over and over and over again And I really didn t think it was very fair to him When she left to figure things out I was thinking she had better do something spectacular to win Noah back Most of you know that one of my biggest pet peeves is when a book just ends No conclusion no nothing Just ends I hate that But another one of my pet peeves is when the heroine does something to hurt the hero and then the hero has to go crawling back to her Seriously She broke it Let her fix it I know I know I am probably one of the very few who think this way But alas I do And thank goodness there are some authors who think the way I do That is all I have to say on this subject Hehe All in all this was a really, really good book I loved it Rachael Anderson does it again She is another auto buy author for me I seriously can t wait for Sam s story Stick in the Mud Meets Spontaneity I have already pre ordered it and I can t WAIT to read it And of course I can t forget the casting Can I tell you how much I love finding new people to cast for all these amazing books Seriously I love it Hehe So what do you think This review is also posted here Plus a giveaway HERE Slow and steady wins the race, right Especially when it comes to relationships race, right Especially when it comes to relationships Simple, sweet and heartfelt Rachael never fails to bring a smile to my face everytime I read a novel of hers This series just keeps getting better and better I absolutely enjoyed the first book in the series and this following installment isn t an exception Just like other Rachael s novels, this book has the simple but meaningful love story that Rachael always do best In this story, Noah has just lost his job and having problems with how he can provide for his daughters Being a single Dad is not easy, that s why he is certain that he has no time for relationships can Cassie change his mind Being a widow can change someone Especially if the relationship is not the relationship that everyone sees Cassie is not someone who goes for fast and spontaneous, she made the mistake once and she s not about to do it again but when it comes to Noah, why is she suddenly changing How these two people got together was really a very sweet journey Just like the quote said, it was slow but steady I love how this is not just a love story In a short amount of pages, I got to know Cassie and Noah pretty well Along the way, they fixed some problems and issues with the help of each other Which made the booksweet, genuine and meaningful.Rachael did it again This is another great installment in a very incredible series I always enjoy Rachael s books, but I think this is my favorite of them all She really nailed the emotion of two wounded people who, despite fears and concerns, open up to the chance of love Loved these characters Loved the way Rachael told the story Loved the ending It was perfection For Noah Mackie, life is finally back on track He has a great support system, a promised promotion is on its way, and he s finally getting the hang of this single father thing But when the job falls through and his neighbor s matchmaking efforts become aggressive, Noah is in for yet another unwanted detour With his career and two spirited daughters to worry about, he doesn t have time for dating especially not someone like Cassie Ellis, his girls beautiful and sophisticated dance instructor, who is about as open and approachable as a brick wall Rough around the Edges Meets Refined is about two people who think they know exactly what they want but who have no idea what they really need It s about learning that people aren t always what they seem and that sometimes life s detours take you exactly where you need to go Lighthearted fun readI enjoyed this lighthearted fun read from front to back I don t know why it took me so long to get to this one I loved the characters and the simple joys, sweet relationships, and fun humor throughout the story Once I started reading I couldn t stop Fun, quick, clean read.Sweet squeaky clean
